Arayik Harutyunyan, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister of Armenia, addressed a claim circulating in the media and denied reports that the Yerevan television tower was illuminated in the colors of the Azerbaijani flag.
"Today, social media users spread the nonsense that the TV tower was lit in Azerbaijani flag colors. With this kind of idiotic disinformation, some people try to stir up tensions among the public. As the saying goes, ‘Hybrid idiots at their best,’” Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page.
He added a note: “P.S. The tower’s lighting has been updated, for your information.”
Harutyunyan also shared a video alongside his post.
