A court has approved the investigator’s motion to detain Imnemnimi podcast co-hosts Narek Samsonyan and Vazgen Saghatelyan for two months, according to Factor.am .
In the early hours of November 13, masked individuals entered the apartments of Samsonyan and Saghatelyan. Following searches at both locations, the two men were taken into custody.
The case under which investigative actions are being carried out was initiated on charges of hooliganism. According to preliminary information, the investigation was triggered by one of Saghatelyan’s Facebook posts containing offensive remarks directed at National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The subject was later continued by Samsonyan and Saghatelyan in their podcast.
