President of Armenia Robert Kocharian will not participate in the meeting of the heads of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation member-states that will take place in Istanbul June 25. In late June the president will be in Baltic States with an official visit. So, it becomes apparent the information regarding the forthcoming meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan within the BSEC summit framework does not correspond to reality. It should be reminded “Turkish daily news” Turkish newspaper reported the information yesterday. Official sources do not report the terms of the meeting at the highest levels. It should be reminded Robert Kocharian has recently stated his meeting with Heydar Aliyev will take place in the nearest future. Azeri deputy foreign minister, the personal representatives of the president at the Karabakh talks, Araz Azimov has confirmed Baku took the initiative to carry on talks.
