Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II met with clergy of the Gugark Diocese, accompanied by Diocesan Primate Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan.
The Armenian Patriarch offered his blessing to the clergy, urging priests to serve the nation's people without fear and with a deep sense of their spiritual calling, keeping them united under the Church’s roof.
In a time marked by numerous challenges, His Holiness called on spiritual leaders to spare no effort in reinforcing national and spiritual values in society, and in strengthening the spirit of love and solidarity.
Prime Minister Pashinyan wrote on Facebook that the Vagharshapat election results are “a key boost for freeing the Mother See,” adding “the people will prevail in the 2026 parliamentary elections.”
