During Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s official visit to Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kazakhstan are set to sign over ten documents, many of which contain critical economic components. This was confirmed by Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan in comments to the press, as reported by Armenpress.
According to Grigoryan, recent progress in logistical arrangements shows strong potential for bilateral cooperation. "Transit capacity is significant, and we must make sure it is used by businesses. If there is an alternative route that offers new logistical solutions, it must be pursued. Today, logistics costs play a crucial role in global trade. In this sense, finding logistics solutions with Kazakhstan presents a major opportunity," he said.
He also highlighted the importance of regional initiatives such as the TRIPP project and Armenia’s Crossroads of Peace, noting their strategic value in reshaping regional logistics.
“When these projects are completed, we will feel how much adaptation is happening in the region from a logistics standpoint. It is impossible to ignore the regional significance of the Crossroads of Peace,” Grigoryan stated.
Trade and logistics will be key topics on the meeting agenda. Grigoryan also emphasized that Kazakhstan will benefit from the Crossroads of Peace initiative.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is currently on an official visit to Kazakhstan. He is expected to hold a private meeting with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, followed by extended negotiations.
