The Central Electoral Commission has finalized the results of the local council elections in the consolidated community of Vagharshapat.
According to the official data, the ruling Civil Contract party secured 19 seats, the Victory alliance obtained 12 seats, and the Mother Armenia party won 2 seats.
The elections in the Vagharshapat community were held on November 16.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had earlier stated on his Facebook page that the outcome of the Vagharshapat elections represents “an important charge to liberate the Mother See” and expressed confidence that “the people will prevail in the 2026 parliamentary elections.”
