On November 24, Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Speaker of Armenia’s National Assembly, met with a Romanian Senate delegation headed by Titus Corlățean, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Policy.
During the meeting, Rubinyan emphasized that strengthening bilateral ties with Romania is of great importance for Armenia, based on the two peoples’ long-standing friendship and mutual respect.
He also briefed the Romanian side on Armenia’s initiatives and efforts aimed at establishing peace in the region.
The conversation additionally touched on the ongoing process of normalizing Armenia-Turkey relations.
