RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan participated in Taxpayer -3 system presentation, RA Government Press Service reported. The program is created through joint efforts of RA Government, RA Ministry of Economy and State Revenue Committee with the assistance of EC.
Head of State Revenue Committee Gagik Khachatryan presented advantages of Taxpayer -3 system to high ranking officials and businessmen present.
The system will enable committee executives to monitor territorial tax administrations’ work through computers. Taxpayer-3 accepts all types of electronic tax reports and contains personal tax passports, bearing information on organizations’ tax history. The renewed program will enable selection of taxpayers subject to check-up. As a result, interrelation of taxpayer- tax collection will be taken onto a new level.
According to Head of RA Governmental apparatus David Sargsyan, electronic document circulation between Ministries of Finance, Economy, Diaspora, Foreign Affairs, RA Territorial Administration, as well as Kotayk Regional Administration and Governmental apparatus has already been implemented via the system.
Governmental apparatus formed and implemented electronic signature system with the assistance of WB. Tazpayer-3 will also enable distribution of notices, addressing of official letter to taxpayers with unfulfilled commitments. Other ministries and regional administrations will join the system within 5 years.
EU Delegation representative in Armenia, Uffe Ulsen and Program Manager, Anthony Jagus emphasized the importance of TAxayer-3 implementation, characterizing it as an essential step, signaling further creation of unified electronic management system.
