On July 22, an attempt to pass drugs to a prisoner was suppressed at Nubarashen penal colony. During the visit to a prisoner Karen Arzumanyan, a certain Mery Karapetyan was subjected to a search, in accordance with a determined order. During the search drugs were found on a suspect, which she was trying to carry through penal colony territory by hiding them inside her body.
M. Karapetyan testified to having received drugs from the acquaintance of Arzmanyan, in accordance with Arzumanyan’s instructions.
An expertise was assigned. An inquiry is in progress, RA Ministry of Justice Press Service reported.
