Today, the first meeting of RA Defense Ministry’s Social Council took place. Touching upon creation of Council and its issues, RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan noted that the Social Council will contribute to strengthening of connections between society and army, and provide society’s involvement in increasing state defense capability.
RA Minister of Defense briefed Social Council representatives on some details of soldiers’ everyday life.
Meeting participants discussed further activities of the Council and elected Gegham Harutyunyan as Social Council Chairman, RA Defense Minister’s Press Secretary Colonel Shakhsuvaryan reported.
