Armenia receives Russian gas in the same volume, ArmRosgasprom CJSC’s press service reported to PanARMENIAN.Net. “We receive Russian gas via Georgia in the same volume and without interruptions,” the company’s press service representative said. To the correspondent’s question whether there were any warnings or notifications by Georgian company, the press service answered it was unnecessary.
Russian media report that there was gas supply stoppage in Ingushetian sector of Mosdoc-Tbilisi pipeline which connects Russia and Transcaucaucasus, delivering gas to Georgia and Armenia.
As reported by ArmRosgasprom company’s representative, it might have been caused by some breakage which will be soon repaired.
ArmRosgasprom CJSC possesses exclusive rights to deliver and distribute Russian natural gas in Armenia’s domestic market. Armenia receives gas via a transit route of Georgia.
