Synopsys Armenia Company initiated institution of “Worldwide IT authority” annual award, Synopsys Armenia Executive Director Hovik Musayelyan stated at the meeting with RA Foreign Policy Department leaders. He also stated that the first award ceremony will take place in 2009, in accordance with presidential decree.
The award is meant to emphasize the role of Armenia in the world map of information technologies as well as increase foreign investors’ trust, Synopsys Armenia press service reported to PanARMENIAN.Net.
