Construction of Iran-Armenia railway is a constituent of Armenia’s flexible strategy, no matter whether the Armenian-Turkish is open or not, said Arsen Ghazaryan, chairman of RA union of industrialists and entrepreneurs.
“This link will offer Armenia an outlet to the Persian Gulf and Central Asia,” he said. “The construction project was developed in the soviet era but its implementation was hampered by USSR decline.”
