Yevgeniy Sudakov: Gaining obvious advantage in points, Misha Aloyan started to avoid his rival

On September 11 at Milan Boxing Championship, Armenian boxer representing Russia, Misha Aloyan (weight category under 51) was beaten 7:8 by Tugtsog Niyambar of Mongolia, winning only a bronze medal.

After the 2nd round Aloyan was leading 6:2, leaving no doubts as to his victory. Still in the third round he started to evade his rival, fighting with lowered hands. After 2 missed blows he rose hands, but still avoided the fight. The boxers’ advantage gradually disappeared, and with a score of 7:6, leading Aloyan was shown a notice 15 seconds before the end of the round, which brought 8:7 victory to Mongolian boxer.

Russian Boxing Federation Vice President Evgeniy Sudakov stated that the referee was acting in accordance with rules, and unfortunately the sportsman who showed a good game all through the championship, lacked experience to bring him final victory.
