Competition of teachers of the Armenian history, history of the Armenian Church, Armenian language and literature was organized for the seventh time in Yerevan. The competition is organized by the RA ministry of education and the Armenian Apostolic Church under the high patronage of the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.
The competition involves tests. 45 teachers, 4 from Yerevan and the rest from the Armenian regions take part in the competition this year. There will be three prize-winning places in each subject: the first place can be claimed by one teacher, the second – by two teachers and the third – by three participants.
“The competition has already become traditional. The aim of the contest is to promote Armenological Studies, ” key expert in general education of the Ministry of Education and Science, Program Coordinator Narine Mnatsakayan said.
The award ceremony will take place in Etchmiadzin and the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II will hand over the “Best Teacher” awards.
