In the Commission on National Security, Defense and Internal Affairs of the Public Council of Armenia today was discussed Protocols on the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations. Before starting the discussions the Committee Chairman Carlos Ghazaryan mentioned that the possible risks of signing the protocols can be identified in the discussions.
In their brief statements the committee members submitted their comments and suggestions.
Committee member, co-chairman of “Youth will” organization Mkrtich Grigoryan in his speech particularly said that the leadership of Armenia officially have not stated the pros and cons of opening the border with Turkey so far. “Today, it is not clear for many citizens of Armenia what open border will give at the political, economic, moral, psychological and historical aspects,” Mkrtich Grigoryan stressed.
