Armenian grandmaster Gabriel Sargsyan scored his first victory over Bulgaria’s Antoaneta Stefanova in the fourth round of Inventichess 2009 going on in Antwerp, Belgium.
In the first round, Sargsyan suffered a defeat from France’s Etienne Bacrot. In the second and third rounds, he made a draw with Emil Sutovsky (Israel) and Bartosz Socko (Poland) respectively.
In the fifth round, Sargsyan will play vs. David Howell (United Kingdom).
