Armenian benevolent union of Aleppo jointly with the youth union of Armenia organized a concert of renowned Armenian composer and conductor Yervand Yerznkyan.
“Preparation works took a month. The concert took place on September 6 and was a success. I sent the notes of my new compositions, which were rehearsed by the orchestra, formed specially on the occasion. Then I arrived in Syria to conduct several rehearsals,” Maestro Yerznkyan told PanARMENIAN.Net.
As to organization of a concert in Armenia, he said although he doesn’t like self-advertisement he wishes to give a concert here. “I am hopeful that Armenian audience will soon hear my old and new compositions,” he said.
It’s notable that the program for Francophonie festival due in Beirut on September 26 was drawn by Maestro Yerznkyan.
