Roman Amoyan to represent Armenia in world championship in Denmark

 

The Armenian National Team in Greco-Roman wrestling will start at World Championships in Herning (Denmark). Competition for the 55 kg-weight category will be held the first day of the tournament.  Roman Amoyan (European Champion 2006) will represent Armenia in this weight. Roman Amoyan   will begin with 1/16 final against the Egyptian Hassan Mostafa. 
 
On September 26 Artak Harutyunyan (w/c 60 kg), Arthur Shahinyan (84 kg) and Arman Geghamyan (96 kg) will fight from Armenia, and on the final day, September 27, Sasun Hambaryan (66 kg) and European champions in 2009 Arsen Julfalakyan (74 kg) and Yuri Patrikeev (120 kg) will be called on the carpet. 
 
Armenian National Team in Greco-Roman wrestling under the guidance of head coach Levon Julfalakyan left for Denmark on 23 September.
