In the 2nd round of Second Stage FIDE Grand Prix competitions which kicked off on September 28 in Nanjing, China, Armenian female chess player Lilit Mkrtchyan made a drew with France’s Mary Seba. Let’s note that in the 1st round, Mkrtchyan played a drawn match with Russia’s Baira Kovanova.
After 2 rounds, Lilit Mkrtchyan earned one point, sharing 4th-9th positions of tournament table with Marta Fiero, Mongontul Batukhiag¸ Yu Venyun, Chen Yan and Baira Kovanova.
After victories in 2 rounds, sole tournament leader Nana Dzangidze (Georgia) shares 2nd-3rd positions with China’s Zhu Chen and Xu Yuhua, who have 1.5 points in the reserve.
In the 3rd round, Lilit Mkrtchyan will compete against Xu Yukhua.
