The illegal drug circulation is under the strict control of the Republic law-enforcement bodies. Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Boris Grizlov stated it today on the occasion of the reports exaggerated in Azeri mass media that the territory of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh were used for drug transit from Russia and a number of the countries of the East. In his words, the problem of struggle against illegal drug circulation and transportation was also actively discussed in the course of the session of the joint Board of Armenian and Russian Ministries of Internal Affairs held March 22. There are no drug transit channels through Armenia discovered up to today and the Russian party has taken account of this information, head of Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
