Individual security of Armenia depends on collective security, Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian stated at OSCE Permanent Council conference in Vienna. In his words, Armenia wishes to attain stability and progress, which is only possible under the conditions of security and cooperation. In this regard official Yerevan hopes that the current forum in Vienna will let solve this problem. Vardan Oskanian reminded that in the course of the ten years of independence the Republic had experienced blockade, war, energetic crisis, refugee flow. Having overcome these problems the Republic took the path of development. Concerning OSCE activity in the South Caucasus, Vardan Oskanian noted that it was appreciably contributing to establishing cooperation between the countries of the region. Armenia hopes OSCE will manage to convince Azerbaijan in the necessity of regional cooperation, which will let restore confidence and overcome the animosity, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia stated.
