In the third round of European League’s group tournament, Romania’s Tmishoara representing Karamyan twin brothers made draw with Belgium’s Anderlekht, thus losing two points.
Both brothers were in team’s initial staff. Unlike Artavazd who won back the entire match, Arman was replaced by Kurtyan during the 72nd minute.
Match was spectacular but very convulsive. During the 19th and 44th minutes of first half, Timishoara’s sportsment Éder José de Oliveira Bonfim and Anderlekht’s forward Rubenilson Kanu were shown yellow cards. Other yellow cards were held up during the 67th and 87th minutes to Romania’s Iona Mera and Winston Park respectively.
Having played its second drawn match in the three rounds of European League group tournament, Timishoara earned 2 points, ranking as the last team in tournament list.
Let’s note that in the first round away-match Romanian sportsmen held victory over Ayaks which had been beaten by Zagreb’s Dinamo 2:1 in the third round. In the first round, Romanians suffered crucial defeat by Zagreb’s team (0:3).
Thus, Anderlekht and Ayaks have each gained 5 points, thus topping Group A tournament list. Zagreb’s Dinamo with 3 points ranks as the third team.
