Women’s Chess Team of Armenia in the 5th round of the 17th European Team Championship in the Serbian town of Novi Sad, ended in a tie with the Azerbaijani National Team (2:2).
All Armenia – Azerbaijan meetings had a draw.
Thus, after the 5th round Armenian chess players scored 7 points and moved from 6th to 7th places. The national team of Georgia, having 9 points in the account, continues to lead. The Azeri national team is at the second place with 8 points and the Russia’s chess players, with 8 points are at the 3rd place.
In the 6th round Armenian chess players will compete with the French team with Marie Sebag, Sophie Milieu, Sylvia Stakes and Pauline Guichard.
