CAUCUS CO-CHAIR RAISES ISSUE OF AID TO NAGORNO KARABAKH

Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues Co-Chair Joe Knollenberg asked U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Andrew S. Natsios for an update on the status of U.S. assistance for Nagorno Karabakh during a House Appropriations Subcommittee on Foreign Operations hearing. The matter concerns providing the aid to Nagorno-Karabakh from the sum remaining after realizations of humanitarian aid programs in the fiscal year 1998.
