Armenian government has appealed to the European commission for foreign relations on account of Turkey and Azerbaijan’s position within TRASECA program framework. Turkey and Azerbaijan’s boycott regarding Armenia’s participation in this program served as a basis for the appeal. In RA MFA press release is noted that such a position impedes the regional cooperation and prevents the realization of the regional programs of the European Union. Every time when the opportunity of such a cooperation has occurred for recent years, the government of Azerbaijan has refused to participated in the program if it has been concerned with Armenia. This time Turkey joined Azerbaijan claiming that “despite the fact that it has finished the development of the internal conceptions necessary for international transport agreement on developing of the Europe-Caucasus-Asia corridor to come into effect, it is not responsible for terms regarding the Turkey- Armenia communications”. In this connection Armenia expresses its displeasure to the European commission, explaining that such an approach of Turkey does not agree with the regulations of 1969 Vienna convention on right of international agreements.
