Special services of the Organization of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) have identified 1.7 thousand websites with criminal content and about ten of terrorism character, including web-sites recruited suicide bombers, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha told the fifth international conference on security and anti-terrorism.
Press Service of the CSTO Secretariat speaks not only about the high level of organization inside drug gangs, but their good technical equipment, as well as their usage of modern information and communication technologies, including the Internet.
“This year, in the framework of the CSTO operation code-named “Proxy”, aimed at countering cybercrime, dozens of sites involved in drug distribution have been identified.
The competent authorities of Kazakhstan have been identified 4 sites in “ru” domain, dealing with sale of narcotics.
Similar information was obtained from 6 sites by the competent authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Experts unanimously say that all Internet users have access to a great amount of information resources dedicated to different types of drugs, collection methods, preparation and consumption at home.
“Sites open spread recipes of manufacturing heroin, LSD and other illicit trafficking of substances, ” Deputy Secretary General of the CSTO Valery Semerikov said, CSTO press office reports.
