Armenia is ready to consider opportunities of cooperation with Ankara in the presence of good will toward this from Turkey’s direction. Robert Kocharian has stated this to «France-press» agency. According to him, at the present time, positive tendencies are observed in Armenia’s economy: they are growth of national produce, activation of industries and export of Armenia products, financial stability and the existence of favorable conditions for free trade and business. This is confirmed also by authoritative international rating – last year Armenia was recognized as most liberal state among SIC countries. «But the current activities were achieved despite the trade relations with Turkey, since such relations do not exist and not through our fault», RA President has stressed and added that for several times Armenia has stated about its readiness to establish normal neighborly relations and mutually beneficial economic cooperation. But Turkey prefers closed frontier. Turkey also needs trade relations as its economy faces serious difficulties, Armenian head has stressed.
