In Cairo the regular round of Armenian-Egypt political consultations took place. As RA MFA press service has reported today, the Armenian delegation was headed by deputy foreign minister Ruben Shugarian. In the course of the consultations a large spectrum of issues on political and economic cooperation was discussed. According to the Egyptian foreign minister’s assistant for Europe Muhammad Shaban, in the course of the talks an agreement on holding of the Armenian-Egyptian economic committee regular meeting in Yerevan was reached. The parts also discussed the possibility of signing of an agreement on double taxation prevention. In the course of the talks the current regional and international issues were also discussed in detail. According to Muhammad Shaban, the Armenian part completely shares the position of official Cairo regarding the issue of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
