NATO BRIGADE GENERAL FAMILIARIZES HIMSELF WITH ARMENIAN PEACEKEEPING FORCES TRAINING LEVEL

Deputy Chief of the Department of regional cooperation and security of NATO International Military Headquarters, brigade general Guido Palmieri is in Armenia on a two-day familiarization visit. The brigade general familiarized himself with the structural and military-training level of the peacekeeping unit of the armed forces of Armenia. Guido Palmieri also visited military institute after Vazgen Sargsian. The American military officer also discussed questions of raising the effectiveness of cooperation within “Partnership for Peace” program with Chief of the Department of foreign relations and military cooperation of Armenian Ministry of Defense major general Mikayel Melkonian.
