IRAN IS AGAINST EXTERNAL FORCES’ PRESENCE IN SOUTH CAUCASUS

Teheran will not tolerate military presence of external forces in countries neighboring with Iran. Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Shahmani, who is in Yerevan on a state visit, said it today while speaking about the possibility of dislocation of the American armed forces on the Georgian territory. At the same time the Iranian Minister reminded the bitter experience of third parties’ presence in Persian Gulf. He stressed that the countries of the region should achieve peace and stability without external forces’ interference.
