Within the framework of informal summit of the SIC heads in Almaty President of Armenia Robert Kocharian had talk with President of Turkmenistan Saparmurat Niyazov. The main topic of the talks was the issue on Turkmen gas supplies to Armenia. Preliminary agreement on this, according to Caspian news agency, was reached in January during the phone conversation of the two Presidents. This time Presidents Kocharian and Niyazov appointed concrete tasks for the working groups created for developmental work of the future agreements. More detailed consideration of this issue is expected in the course of the forthcoming visit of Turkmen President to Armenia.
