The US Secretary of State Colin Powel welcomed the stable position of official Yerevan regarding the issue of Karabakh conflict settlement at the recent meeting with the representatives of Armenian Diaspora of America in White House. As one of the meeting participants, a Armenian Diaspora famous figure, reported to “Arminfo” agency, the Secretary of State expressed his displeasure with “unscrupulousness of Azerbaijani authorities in connection with this issue”, as at first official Baku accepted the Key-West agreements regarding the issue of Karabakh conflict settlement and then toughen its position. The source also reported that the representative of Armenian authorities participating in the meeting again confirmed the position of official Yerevan that is Armenian will never make any compromises stipulating the placement of Stepanakert under the authority of official Baku.
