The prospects of creation of a working group on Karabakh conflict settlement within the framework of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly was discussed in the course of the Assembly session in Vienna. Member of the Armenian delegation, deputy of the Parliament Shavarsh Kocharian told «Arminfo» agency about it today. In his words, formation of the group would play a positive part in the matter of the conflict settlement in spite of the fact that it would harm the settlement in case of changing OSCE Parliamentary Assembly leadership. The Parliamentary Assembly Head Adrian Severin insisted on the necessary participation of the Karabakh party in the work of the above-mentioned group, the deputy said. He reported that Azeri delegation came against creation of the working group and Turkey seconded it. As a result the item was not included in OSCE Parliamentary Assembly agenda. The question of forming the working group is postponed for the present.
