RAMKAVAR AZATAKAN PARTY OF ARMENIA CALLED ON PARLIAMENT TO PASS A LAW ON LEGAL GUARANTEES TO PROTECT ARMENIAN GENOCIDE VICTIMS’ MEMORY

Today Ramkavar Azatakan party of Armenia came out with a statement in which it called on the country Parliament to pass the bill on legal guarantees of protection of the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Turkey in 1915-1522, which was submitted by Agroindustrial People’s Union deputy group. The document notes that passing such a law proceeds from the national interests of the Armenian people, as well as from the political and economic realities. Besides, it is concordant with official Yerevan policy directed towards recognition of the Armenian Genocide. The statement also notes that Ramkavar Azatakan party of Armenia intends to launch wide discussions on the document in Armenia and diaspora.
