In Yerevan the participants of the seminar of the political scientists of the South Caucasian region have discussed the issues of regional cooperation in the South Caucasus and the perspectives of settlement of regional conflicts. The seminar has taken place on the initiative of the Marshal Center. The seminar participants have noted that the regional cooperation according to the «three minus one» format, that is without Armenian or Azerbaijani participation, is not perspective in any case. While having speech during the seminar opening, Armenian deputy foreign minister Ruben Shugarian noted that the states of the South Caucasus chose different ways for development and the antiterrorist coalition could become the most perspective sphere of cooperation for Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey. While speaking about the issue of Karabakh conflict the Azeri representatives noted that its settlement would be possible by mutual compromises.
