Ayb educational foundation organized Thursday a round table with Armenian entrepreneurs to discuss the process of elaboration of a new model of Armenian national comprehensive school.
“We have elaborated a comprehensive project, and attach much importance to the opinion of people representing various spheres. To this end we have organized three round tables, deciding this time to invite entrepreneurs,” said David Sahakyan, foundation’s Executive Director.
“We see the school model as the future of our educational system which will help reveal young generation’s potentials. Today’s meeting with entrepreneur will show their attitude to the project,” he added. This practice, according to foundation’s Executive Director will apply not only to Armenia but also to countries which have Armenian Diaspora or simply wish to introduce such education model.
“The educational complex will consist of primary, secondary and high schools. Students and teachers will be selected by contest. Exams for both will be compulsory when passing from one degree to another. Scholarships are envisaged for high school students unable to pay their tuition fee. The school will have 810 students from Yerevan, Armenian regions, as well as Diaspora,” David Sahakyan said.
