On Saturday, December 12, Yerevan hosted ArmRobotics open championship under the patronage of Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan and general sponsorship of Hoornet company. Event organizer is Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE).
“Object recognition and classification” contest was held within competition frameworks.
3 participant teams: RobotX, CyberRAU and Team X developed and constructed robots to recognize objects regardless of their geometric shape. None of participant teams managed to fully accomplish the task so no winners were announced.
Jury resolved to grant consolation prizes of AMD 30 000 to 3 participating teams, UITE press service reported.
