1600 people in Armenia used internet banking services of HSBC by late November

By late November 2009 the number of clients of Internet banking services of HSBC Bank Armenia reached 1600, CEO of HSBC Bank Armenia Timothy Slater told a PanARMENIAN.Net. According to him, by the end of this year this number is expected to reach 2 000. HSBC Bank Armenia invested USD 2 million to make Internet banking service available in Armenia from July 1 2009. Internet banking enables to do non-cash transactions from any place 365 days a year 24 hours a day, allowing customers to check their bank accounts, execute transactions, as well as open new accounts on-line.
