Earthquake forecasting in the territory of a foreign state is not professional and not serious. Head of Armenian seismic protection service Armen Manvelian has stated this in response to «Arminfo» correspondent’s request to comment information regarding the forecast of Russian scientist Viktor Bokov on possible 5-6M earthquake in Armenia’s territory spread by Azerbaijani media. According to Manvelian, necessary information about the situation in Armenia is needed to forecast and this information is not available to both Baku and Russia. National seismic service 150 stations carry out daily monitoring, according to the results of data processing, earthquake is not expected in the nearest future. It should be noted that according to Victor Bokov’s forecast, earthquake might strike in the nearest future, even today, February 14.
