ANKARA AND BAKU PREPARE TO UNPRECEDENTED PROVOCATION AGAINST ARMENIANS

Ankara is preparing to begin the next anti-Armenian propagandistic campaign. Passing a resolution “condemning the genocide of the peaceful populations of Turkey and Azerbaijan committed by Armenians” is planned by Turkish Parliament February 26. Chairman of the Great National Council of Turkey Omar Izgi, who is in Baku on an official call, reported it. Let us remind that Azeri Parliament simultaneously intends to pass a decision concerning the events in Sumgait 1988. According to the data available, Azeri special services plan to present faked documents to the legislators to prove that the Armenian genocide in Sumgait was organized by Armenians themselves. Selection of time for passing anti-Armenian provocative documents by the Turkish and Azeri Parliaments is not casual. Ankara and Baku are thus trying to disorient the world public opinion, which will be reminded of the essence of “the Azeri nationalism” February 28 – the day of the 14-th anniversary of Sumgait genocide.
