ARMENIAN-TURKISH DIALOGUE POSSIBLE IF TALKS TO BE HELD BY PARTIES LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES, ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT HEAD CONSIDERS

The possibility of the dialogue with Turkey is acceptable for Armenia if the talks are held not by the artificially created commissions but by the legal representatives of the parties. Chairman of the Armenian parliamentary commission for foreign links Armen Rustamian told “Liberty” broadcasting station. At the same time he emphasized that the number of requirements advanced to Armenia as preconditions for the development of the Armenian-Turkish relations, particularly the refusal from efforts aimed at the Armenian Genocide recognition and compromise in the Nagorno Karabakh issue is inadmissible for Yerevan. Moreover, A. Rustamian pointed out, that the issue of the Genocide exceeded the limits of the Armenian-Turkish relations long ago and has become one of the conditions for Turkey for its entry or interaction with a number of international organizations.
