ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT SPEAKER LEFT FOR GREAT BRITAIN WITH OFFICIAL VISIT

Today Armenian National Assembly chairman Armen Khachatrian has left for London by the invitation of the speakers of the House and House of Lords of the Great Britain parliament. He is accompanied by three Armenian parliamentary deputies. During the visit, meetings with foreign minister Peter Hein, the speaker of House of Lords lord Irvin, the chief inspector of the house John Burn, head of special committee on the state expenses Edward Leil, the representative of leadership of the European Bank of reconstruction and development Oliver Descemps will take place. The consideration of British-Armenian friendship with the members of parliamentary group is on the visit agenda. The head of the National Assembly will meet with Armenian community representatives of the Great Britain and visit St Sargis Armenian Church in London. The delegation of Armenian parliament will also visit the capital of Wales Cardiff. February 3, the delegation will return to Yerevan.
