The leaders of the religious department of the Moslems of the Transcaucasia are indignant at the words of world chess ex-champion Garry Kasparov, who lately stated in an article printed in “Wall Street Journal” that “terrorism dressed into Islam clothes”. Azeri religious leaders intend to response the statement made by the former citizen of their country. The question is to be discussed at the session of Moslem department and “taking certain measures” is planned. In the words of the chief of the department press office Akif Agayev, this is not the first case when Kasparov permits himself to make statements insulting Azeri dignity. “One should not expect anything else from Kasparov,” – Agayev concluded.
