Justice minister of Armenia David Arutyunyan has informed about the results of the 60-day talks with «ArmenTel» leadership at the meeting with journalists today. According to the achieved agreement, per minute payment for city calls will be established in Armenia since February 1, 2002. The agreement on this was achieved the other day due to the talks of Armenia’s government with communication monopolist «ArmenTel» company. Journalists have been informed of this by RA justice minister David Arutyunyan today. According to him, the license fee for phone calls is 900 drams. 360 minutes per month is granted for this payment. A phone subscriber will have to pay 4 drams for any minute in addition to the fixed limit. Besides, phone subscribers are also suggested an alternative payment for city calls. When paying 2400 drams during the last 5 days of a month for the next month, a phone subscriber will have a right for unlimited conversation. This sum will be valid until the end of 2002 and in 2003 it will be 3600 drams, in 2004 it will be 4800. For a juridical person the license fee is 2700 instead of current 3200 drm/month. For any minute in addition to the fixed 360 minutes a month, juridical person must pay 4 dram/minute. An opportunity of unlit conversation is given, if besides license fee (2700 drm) additional 2400 drm is paid. The payment for Internet is 1 drm/minute (over 360 minutes). As «Arminfo» correspondent has been informed in the «ArmenTel» press service, per minute payment will be established for phone subscribers of 36, 39, 42, 44, 46, 52, 53, 54, 56, 57, 58 ATS. In the press service it was also noted that 22, 24, 23, 26, 27, 28 77ATS will soon join the above mentioned ATS.
