IN BAKU PEOPLE AFRAID OF RECEIVING NEW 907 AMENDMENT AS «PRESENT» THIS TIME FROM EUROPE

The consideration of the issue on condemnation of the Turkey’s blockade against Armenia worries the political circles of Azerbaijan. In the opinion of a «Zerkalo» Baku newspaper columnist, «Armenia intensifies the pressure on Turkey and at the same time uses its positions actively in international organizations of the US». The author of the issue notes that the initiative of Yerevan « has a chance to succeed» and it is a «factor worrying Azerbaijan». «If the demarche of the official Yerevan in CE in connection with Turkey succeeds than it is possible that Armenia will make the same steps in respect to Azerbaijan, writes the «Zerkalo» commentator and make a conclusion: «It might happen that when we are happy with the Amendment 907 repeal, the baton from the USA will be taken by the CE in the same capacity».
