IRANIAN ROCK MUSIC CONCERT TO BE ARRANGED IN YEREVAN

First concert of Iranian rock music will be held in Yerevan concert hall after Aram Khachatrian January 26. Teheran rock group with “Zanger” (“Bells”) Armenian name, whose leader Armenian by origin Rafik Isagulian, will appear before the Armenian public. According to the information of “Arminfo” agency, the rest musicians of the group are Persians. The concert is organized with assistance of the department of culture of the Iranian embassy in Armenia. This is the first performance of the group abroad. As it is known, after the Islamic revolution in 1979 all music styles except the spiritual were prohibited in Iran.
