Executive director of “ArmenTel” company Nikos Georgulas refuted the reports that in case of failure of the negotiations on the terms and order of introducing payment by minute for city telephone calls “ArmenTel” will begin levying payment by minute on the users in spite of the governmental ban. This was preceded by the statement of Minister of Transport and Communication Andranik Manukian that he would not admit disconnection of telephone users, who refused to pay the sum. Let us remind that there is only a week left before expiration of the term of negotiations between the Government and “ArmenTel” management. Judging from the reports, there is no significant progress made in the course of the consultations that have already been in process for almost two months.
