A provision, regulating the order of water supply to houses of the Republic, was approved at today’s session of the Armenian Government. The document provides for compulsory installation of water meters, the indication of which will determine the amount of the payment for using drinking water. It is noteworthy that according to the document passed, the citizens themselves will have to pay for setting the counter. It is planned to give the most needy families an opportunity to get a counter on credit. The device costs nearly 25 AMD.
