Two citizens of Afghanistan, who were trying to penetrate into the territory of Armenia, were detained by Russian frontier guards in “Zvartnots” Yerevan international airport the other day. The trespassers were revealed by the border detail during the registration of documents of flight Istanbul-Yerevan. According to the information of “Arminfo” agency, both Afghans showed national Bulgarian passports to the passport control, which raised doubts of the frontier guards concerning their authenticity, as the data in the passports pointed to Slavonic background of these persons. After preparing the corresponding documents the arrested were passed to the Ministry of National Security of Armenia that is holding an investigation on the case. The frontier guards, who discovered the delinquents, are encouraged for efficient actions at airport control.
